Registering links your analyzer to your name, so support can see which instrument, which firmware and which warranty period they are dealing with before you finish explaining the problem.

Where to find the serial number

On the label underneath the instrument, next to the model name. If the label is unreadable, the number also appears on the original shipping carton and on your invoice. Register the analyzer even if you bought it second-hand — ownership records matter more than where it came from.

What registering does

Faster support. The serial number tells us the model, the production batch and the warranty period without a round of questions first.
Correct kit matching. Kits are calibrated per market. Knowing which instrument you have means we can tell you which boxes are valid for it — see why test kits are not interchangeable.
Notification of anything that affects your instrument. Firmware updates, reagent lot advisories, recalls.
